Touche Technology - Revolutionizing touch sensitive screens in 2013

Touche can detect body gestures by using the body as a sensor. Touch sensitive displays have changed the way we interact with electronic devices today.

Now researchers at Disney Research, Pittsburgh, and Carnegie Mellon University have developed a touch sensitive technology called Touche that not only detects if and where someone is touching it, but how they are touching it. It is based on the same capacitive touch sensing technology found in smartphone and tablet displays, instead of operating at a single frequency, it monitors capacitive signals across a broad range of frequencies.

In 2013 we will see many gadgets to be using this technology, this will only improve user interaction with the device. Much more involvement of user input with device.

Lenovo Unveils ThinkPad Tablet 2 with Windows 8

Lenovo has formally announced the next generation ThinkPad Tablet 2 powered by Windows 8 operating system. The all new ThinkPad Tablet 2 will feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen display and has j

ust under 10mm thickness. The company will introduce 3G and 4G supporting models where 4G will be available initially in the USA via AT&T network only. This tablet is expected to be available after Microsoft launches Windows 8 in October.

Ideally meant for the enterprise level customers, the new ThinkPad Tablet 2 will feature some good deal of features. By default, the ThinkPad Tablet 2 will feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1366x768 native resolution. This touchscreen supports multi-touch interactions and also will offer optional digitizer, stylus pen for precision input, fingerprint reader for security and dockable keyboard.

Under the 9.8 mm thick chassis, the tablet will house an Intel Atom (Cedar Trail-W) family mobile processor. This tablet will run the Windows 8 operating system with full Office Suite support.

It will have a camera at the back to click photos or record videos and a camera in the front for video chat. Lenovo has also added a full USB 2.0 port for hooking your regular set of USB accessories to it and HDMI output for connecting the tablet to an HD display.
Lenovo will offer the WiFi only model everywhere mostly and then make the 3G as well as 4G network supporting models in select countries. There was no word on the pricing of the ThinkPad Tablet 2.

Avoiding Fifa 12 midway crisis

Just downloaded fifa 12 and faced some problems which you all might face in installing and running it.

Just follow these simple steps and avoid any of the prevailing problem :

 Mount it on a drive using Daemon tools, install it from there. After completion of installation process, block fifa.exe file from firewall.

Proceedure  of blocking it from Firewall : 

1. Press the key combination Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog
2. Type wf.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter. This would open the Windows Firewall with Advanced Secruity window.
3. Click on the Outbound Rules in the left side menu in the Windows Firewall window
4. Click on the New Rule... on the right side menu.
5. In the New Outbound Rule Wizard, select Program in Rule Type window and click Next.
6. In the Program window, either manaully type the full path and file name of the program you want to block, or click on the Browse button to browse the program file. Click Next to continue.
7. In the Action window, select Block the connection and click Next.
8. In the Profile window, select all options and click Next.
9. In the Name window, give a name to the new rule like Block Explorer.exe and click Finish.

After following this proceedure copy crack file from downloaded folder and paste it in c:/program file/fifa12/game. 

This will make yoour installation process complete, you can now play your game.

Another problem which might trouble you is How to change screen resolutoin of Fifa12.

Before playing game go to directory/FIFA12/Game/fifasetup and then cllick on fifconfig.exe file and from there you can change resolution in game settings.

An Interesting update to Facebook's chat window

"Seen 08:45 PM" I guess you all know what will be the topic of discussion for today. You all must have surely seen this if you chat with friends on Facebook. It is the latest feature added to Facebook this year after its rocking Camera App and feature to edit your comments.

It is a bit confusing to me - Was it really necessary? Is it beneficial to the users?

Well yes sometimes, it tells us whether or not our message has reached to its destination or not. But what if you doesn't want to reply to someone. This is a direct attack to your privacy and so is controversial. Now you cannot use all those lame excuses like the server was down, your internet was disconnected and many more like these for not replying on facebook chat.
